"Gizon batek ez luke beste gizon batekin etzan behar eta emakume batek ez luke beste emakume batekin etzan behar bere atal pribatuak estali gabe, haur batekin edo aita batekin izan ezik".: The Prophet sent Mu’adh to Yemen and said, “Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.” (Jainkoaren izenean)
Oppression comes in many forms, and doesn’t necessarily mean that someone is hurting you physically. Oppression is defined in Islam as anything that deliberately causes another person or even animal any kind of harm, suffering or difficulty.
gaitzaren gaitzespena erakustea eta eskuz edo mihiarekin aldatzen saiatzea, berriz, betebehar loteslea baino ez da hori egiteko gai diren musulmanentzat., oppression can be:
- Not returning something that belongs to someone else
- Not paying employees their dues (their wages)
- Stealing from someone
- Taking something that is not rightfully yours
- Causing emotional and psychological harm
- Causing physical harm
- Making someone’s life deliberately difficult and uneasy
- Not repaying a debt you owe to someone
- Withholding someone’s rights (Adibidez, a man who withholds the rights of his wife or children)
- Not feeding or looking after those under your care – this includes your animals and your family
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle SAW said, “Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him.” (Jainkoaren izenean)
In the same way it is forbidden to oppress anyone, there is also much reward in helping anyone who is oppressed:
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Umar: Allah’s Apostle SAW said, “A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (zilborra eta belaunen arteko eremua) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection . ”
And as for those who are oppressed, make the following dua so Allah SWT will help you:
حَسْبِى اللَّهُ لِمَا اَهَمَّنِىْ, حَسْبِىْ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ بَغى عَلَىَّ , حَسْبِىْ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَسَدَنِىْ, حَسْبِىْ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ كَادَنِىْ بِسُؤءٍ , حَسْبِىْ اللَّهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ
Allahumma hasbi-Allahu liman hamani, hasbi-Allahu liman bagha ‘alyya, hasbi-Allahu liman hasadani, hasbi-Allahu liman kaadani bisuu’in, hasbi-Allahu liman ‘indal-mauti
O Ala! Suffice me in my wishes and inclinations. O Ala! suffice me against anyone who oppresses me. O Ala! suffice me against those who envy me. O Ala! suffice me against those who wish to harm me. O Ala! suffice me in the last moments of death
May Allah SWT grant us the goodness to help those who are oppressed and protect us from becoming the oppressors – ameen!

very good information , we can learn many things . great duas
The narrattion of Abu Huraira is very true. Many people are suffering through many forms of oppression. Oppression doesn’t only come in a drastic display. Oppression is most destructive when it is in our relationships with family members, friendships and other people included in our day to day lives. A good warning to the oppressers to seek forgiveness now and also a good message to the oppressed that there will be a time for justice.
