De twee schatten van de Arsh van Allah

Allah SWT heeft in al Zijn oneindige genade ervoor gezorgd dat de gelovigen alles hebben wat ze nodig hebben om succesvol te zijn in de dunya en de akhira. We have been given Salah, given guidance in the form of the Quran and the Sunnah and more specifically, been gifted with two beautiful gifts from Allah SWT – surah Fatiha and the last verses of Surah Baqrah.

The Hadith of Ibn `Abbas which stated “While the Messenger of Allah (ZAAG) was with Jibril (ALS), he heard a noise from above. Gabriël(ALS) lifted his sight to the sky and said, `This is a door that was opened just now in heaven, and it was never opened before.’ An angel came down through the door to the Prophet (ZAAG) en zei, `Receive the good news of two lights that you have been given and which no Prophet before you was given: the Opener of the Book (Al-Fatihah) and the last Ayat in Surat Al-Baqarah. You will not read a letter of them, but you will be granted its benefit.”’ This Hadith was collected by Muslim and An-Nasa’i, and this is the wording collected by An-Nasa’i.

The last verses of Surah Baqrah are the last two verses and in some narrations it is referred to as the last three. In elk geval, these are the pillars of your imaan encapsulated into Fatiha and the last verses.

It’s important to note that both of these are referred to as the treasures from beneath the Throne of Allah:

It is reported from M’aqal Ibn Yasar that he said: The Messenger of Allah Sallalahu Aalaihi Wasallam said: “I was given Fatihat al Kitab and the closing (verzen) of Surat Al-Baqarah from beneath the Throne…” (Narrated by Ibn Mardawaih)

Maak er een prioriteit in je leven van om deze verzen te leren en ze dagelijks in je huis te reciteren – want waarlijk, de Shaytaan vlucht uit een huis waar deze verzen worden gereciteerd.

May Allah SWT make us from amongst those people who has earned His favour through loving and hating for His sake only ameen.
