Puasa Sapoe Ieu = DUA TAUN Dosa Anjeun Diampuni!

Allah SWT made the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah the BEST of days, while making the last 10 nights of Ramadan the best of nights. Saéstuna anu pangmulyana di antara aranjeun di sisi Alloh nyaéta, we should aim to please Allah SWT more during this time than any other.

This is during ordinary days. Of course there is even more reward during these blessed days.

Of all the acts of worship a believer can do, the best of acts are to keep the fasts of Dhul Hijjah – especially on the Day of ‘Arafah – the day upon which Allah SWT perfected His religion:

Kangjeng Nabi (SAW) ceuk: “Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one. And fasting the day of Ashura expiates the sins of the past year.” [Muslim]

Remember that observing the voluntary fast for a day keeps you away from Hell. Dina hiji hadits, Kangjeng Nabi (assalamu'alaikum warohmatullohi wabarokatuh) ceuk,

Anyone who fasts for one day for Allah’s pleasure, Allah will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years. (Al-Bukhari jeung Muslim)

One should also make extra effort to do as much dhikr as possible:

Kangjeng Nabi (SAW) ceuk: "Teu aya dinten anu langkung ageung di payuneun Allah atanapi anu mana amal kahadéan langkung dipikacinta ku Anjeunna, ti sapuluh poé ieu, jadi loba tahlil, takbir jeung tahmid dina mangsana.” [Muslimah nyaéta awéwé anu mikir]

• The Takbeer is Allahu akbar (Allah is Greater than all)
• The Tahmeed is Al-Hamdu Lillah (All praise belongs to Allah)
• Tahlil: Laa ilaha ill-Allah (There is no God but Allah)
• Tasbih: Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah)

The most common takbir is:

Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allah téh gering-Allah, Allahu akbar, wa Lillaah il-hamd.

Allah is Greater Than All, Allah is Greater Than All, salapan poé Dzulhijjah; Allah is Greater than everything and to Allah belongs all praise.

Abu Hurairah (teu boga nanaon bangga hijina hal anu sabenerna ngajaga aranjeunna bade nyaeta egos belet maranéhanana) also reported that the Prophet (assalamu'alaikum warohmatullohi wabarokatuh) ceuk:

He who says Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea.(Al-Bukhari jeung Muslim)

Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari (teu boga nanaon bangga hijina hal anu sabenerna ngajaga aranjeunna bade nyaeta egos belet maranéhanana) ngariwayatkeun yén Nabi saw (assalamu'alaikum warohmatullohi wabarokatuh) ceuk:

He who utters ten times La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli sha’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent), he will have a reward equal to that for freeing four slaves from the progeny of Prophet Isma`il. (Al-Bukhari jeung Muslim)
