E mahana no te faaoreraa hara, te ti'amâraa mai roto mai i te auahi ura no te mau taata e parahi ra i te vahi papu no Arafat. Aisha (RA) narrated that the Prophet SAW said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafat. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels saying, ‘What do these people (the Hajis) want?’” (Mahometa)
Although this is specific for the pilgrims who have gone for Hajj, Allah SWT has prepared an enormous reward for those who cannot make it for Hajj and choose to fast on the day of Arafat.
The Prophet SAW mentioned fasting on the day of Arafat and said: “It expiates the sins of the previous year and that of the following year.” (Mahometa)
The fasting is a stressed sunnah as completed by the Prophet SAW when he did not perform Hajj. The Day of Arafat is the 9i te 10 of Dhul Hijjah and this year it falls on Sunday the 11i te 10 of September 2016. Eid will be on Monday the 12th of September 2016 or the 10i te 10 of Dhul Hijjah.
May Allah SWT make it easy to fast on this day and accept our efforts ameen.
