How To Rejuvenate Your Faith In This Pandemic!

Everyone around the world is going through a tough time dealing with this pandemic and the aura of anxiety and hopelessness it has created around us. It is easy to fall victim to depression and stress at this time. It is a difficult time for even practising Muslims to feel content and peaceful.

TOTW: Keep Calm And Turn To Allah

Ingon mga Muslim, the biggest assurance we can have right now is that everything happens by the will of Allah S.W.T. The Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, The One we turn to in our dire state of need. The Prophet s.a.w. miingon:

عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ

Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him, Kahibulongan ang kalihokan sa magtotoo kay adunay maayo sa matag butang niya ug dili kini mahitabo ni bisan kinsa gawas sa magtotoo, then he shows patience and thus it is good for him.

(Hadith by Sahih Muslim)

This hadith clearly states to turn to Allah for help, guidance and protection when caught in circumstances beyond your control. He is supremely merciful and never rejects the call of a believer who calls upon Him. When faced by troubles in your heart and doubts in your mind, bow to Him and pray. Pour your heart in front of Him as He is listening to every word you say. We often display our problems and worries on social media and get no response, mostly. That is because no one cares for you like the way Allah s.w.t cares for His creation. It is a gesture of reassuring your faith not taken seriously by many. But trust me with this, the is what you need to do the most, and you will start feeling your heart at peace in no time.

Your hardest times will often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep the faith, it will be worthwhile in the end.
