Los derechos y responsabilidades del esposo

Los hombres son conocidos como los Ameers del hogar y con razón.. Se colocan como protección para sus familias y Allah Todopoderoso los ha comparado con pastores.:

El profeta (sierras) dijo, “Every one of you is a guardian and every one of you is responsible (for those under your ward). A ruler is a guardian and is responsible (for his subjects); a man is a guardian of his family and responsible (for them); a wife is a guardian of her husband’s house and she is responsible (for it), a slave is a guardian of his master’s property and is responsible (for that). Tener cuidado! All of you are guardians and are responsible (for those your wards).” Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.116 Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar

So what are the rights and responsibilities of husbands in Islam?

1. The right to be respected by his wife and treated with dignity and honor
2. Allah Almighty has made men with certain physical needs, and if their wife refuses them, then there is every chance a man will go elsewhere. A husband has the right to intimacy with his wife when he wants – no matter how busy she is
3. The husband has the right not to have people he dislikes in his home and his wife should honor this in case it causes anger or resentment in his heart
4. The husband has the right to have his possessions protected and entrusted by his wife:

“The woman is the guardian of her husband’s house and is responsible for it.” (Bujari)

Husbands Also Have Many Responsibilities Which Include:

• Maintaining his family by providing for his wife and children WITHOUT being harsh or humiliating them
• To protect his wife with ‘jealousy’ so that other men do not look at her
• To give his family their own living quarters away from his own family so they can live in peace without any problems
• To provide everything his children need without placing this burden on the mother
• To treat his family with the utmost kindness and not to harm his wife

And remember! Treat your wives with kindness as:

Allah dice: "Ellos (esposas) are your garments and you are their garments” (2:187)

A husband has many rights and responsibilities to his wife and family, and a good husband will ensure that he fulfils his obligations while a good wife will Insha’Allah fulfil her rights to him. In such marriages, Allah SWT places much goodness so that a husband and wife can live in peace and harmony inshAllah.
