Na iTukutuku ni Kalou (vaka) e kaya: ‘O Allah, bless my Ummah in the mornings.’ (Ycidra, Ti kakua ni dauti ira na dausaqa, Ibn Maajah)

Making the use of your early mornings is indeed a habit of highly successful people. When most people are just starting their day, those who use their early mornings have already achieved so much!

The early morning starts from after Fajrso make the best use of this time. Don’t jump back into bed, rather take some time to do the adkhar and build a daily ‘my time with Allahhabit:

”The angels keep on asking Allah’s forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, ‘O Allah! Forgive him, Oi Kemuni na Kalou! be Merciful to him.” (Bukhari)

May Allah SWT grant us the ability to become early morning risers and use this time for His sake ameen.

  1. Masha Kalou, a wonderful reminder! Next quarter I’m going to change my schedule insha Allah so I won’t have to run for my life right after Fajr to reach classes on time!!
