Many people don’t know this beautiful hadith:
It is narrated that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (알라가 그를 기뻐하기를) 말했다:
‘Dua is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings
upon your Prophet (그에게 알라베의 평화와 축복).” (Classed as hasan by al-Albaani
in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi).
The etiquettes of making dua properly is to start by praising Allah SWT, making durood, then making your duas and then ending with salutations for the Prophet SAW.
In another narration, Ubayy ibn Ka’b said:
I said: 오 알라의 메신저, I send blessings upon you a great deal; how much of my prayer (둘) should be for you? 그는 말했다: “Whatever you wish.”
I said: One quarter? 그는 말했다: “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.”
I said: Half? 그는 말했다: “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.”
I said: Two thirds? 그는 말했다: “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.”
I said: Should I make all my du’aa’ for you? 그는 말했다: “Then your concerns will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven.”
알-티르미디의 내레이션 (2457); classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.
The meaning here was that sending abundant salawat on the Prophet SAW meant that Allah SWT would take care of all of our needs. 그리고 알라가 가장 잘 압니다.
