Searching for a spouse can sometimes be frustrating and feel like its taking too much of your time and energy

And rejections can really take their toll on you

But guess what?

You have a secret weapon at your disposal that will make your entire search easier and less stressful

And that weapon is tawakkul or reliance upon Allah SWT and Him alone. Most people get the concept of tawakkul all wrong because they take no action in their situation and expect Allah to fix their problem.

This isn’t what tawakkul means, because in a clear hadith, a man asked the Prophet SAW:

“Should I tie my camel and have Tawakkul or should I leave her untied and have Tawakkul.” The Prophet SAW replied, “Tie her and have Tawakkul.” [Tirmidi]

This hadith clearly states that reliance upon Allah should be coupled with action, and for the one who does so, Fai mai Allah i le Quran:

ae afai tou te le faafetai [ae afai tou te le faafetai] he could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allāh, then He will suffice him. E moni, Allāh will accomplish His purpose. Ma o le mea lea e ui i le tele o faigata na ia, Allāh has set a measure for all things.’
[Quran 65:3]

This is HUGE!

As long as you fully place your trust in Allah and are actively trying to find a spouse, your heart can rest assured that Allah SWT has got your back and you’ll eventually find the one for you that Allah intends.

So place your trust in Allah, say Bismillah and take action by actively searching for a spouse.

Don’t forget, you should ALSO ask friends and family to keep a lookout for a potential spouse for you too!
