1. Make Ghusl.
2. Clip your nails, use miswak
On one Friday, Rasulallah said: “Enyi Waislamu! Allah Ta’ala has made this day a day of Eid. So have a bath on this day, whoever has perfume should apply it, and use the Miswaak.“ (Ibn Majah |)
3. Dress nicely and use attar.
4. Try to go early to the Masjid for Jummah.
It was narrated from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafi that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuh) sema: Whoever does Ghusl on Friday and causes (his wife) to do Ghusl, and sets out early, and comes close to the imam and listens and keeps quiet, for every step he takes he will have the reward of fasting and praying qiyaam for one year.” (al-Tirmidhiy, 496)
5. Read Surah Al Kahf
From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri, nani alisema: Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah). Narrated by al-Daarimi . This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al- Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami.
