What’s your relationship with Allah SWT like? Do you think the best of your Lord who created you and gave you everything, or do you only seek to complain? Do you feel content and at peace, secure and sure of your love for Allah? Or do you feel distant and withdrawn?
On the authority of Abu Hurairah ra, who said that Rasulullah saw said: Allah swt said: “Ndingumkhonzi wam ndicinga ukuba ndinguye. Ndinaye xa ndithetha ngam. Ukuba uthe wandikhankanya yena ngokwakhe, Ndikhankanya yena ngokwam. And if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, Ndikhankanya kwindibano engcono kunangaphambili. And if he draws near to Me a hand’s span, I draw near to him an arm’s length. Kwaye ukuba uyasondela kum ixesha lengalo, Ndisondela kuye ubude befetom. Kwaye ukuba uza kum, Ndiya kuye ngesantya.” (Hadist Qudsi: Uzakuphosa isiqingatha sokuncoma kwicala lakho ngayo nayiphi na into entle omxelela yona kodwa ivakala ngathi sisithuko okanye ubungayenza njani ngcono., UmSilamsi, UTirmidhi, Ibn Majah |)
This beautiful hadith illustrates so many things such as tawakkal (full trust and reliance upon Allah), constant remembrance and qadr (predestination). It also proves that the more effort you exert into remembering Allah, the more Allah will remember YOU.
All good things start when you fix your relationship with Allah SWT, and slowly but surely, life falls into place – and all because you think good of Allah, have full belief and trust in Him and His plan for you . Allah SWT therefore rewards your trust in Him by granting you ease in difficulty and giving you what you need.
May Allah SWT make us from among those who are His righteous honored slaves in this life and the next, ameen.
