שפּיץ פון דער וואָך- The Quran And Fasting – Your Companions in The Hereafter

When you return to Allah, the King of Kings, the Owner of Majesty and the One who holds the Dominion of all in His Right Hand, what will you have apart from your deeds?

Who will help you on that terrible day when the Earth will be pounded to a powder and when Allah SWT will roll up the Universe in His Right Hand?

When the believers who worshipped Allah stand before Him, trembling with fear and in hope of forgiveness, there are TWO things that will be our companions on the Day of Recompense:

Abdullah ibn `Amr reported that the Prophet (שלום און ברכות זאָל זיין אויף אים) געזאגט ‘Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede on behalf of Allah’s servant on the Day of Judgment:

Fasting will say, “O my Lord! I prevented him from food and desires during the day, so accept my intercession for him.”

And the Qur’an will say, “O my Lord! I prevented him from sleeping by night, so accept my intercession for him.”

The intercession of both will thus be accepted.’ (Ahmad and authenticated by Al-Albani)

Ramadan is the month of fasting and the month of the Quran, so make good use of your time during this blessed month, because you may not live to see another Ramadan. May Allah SWT make us ALL from among those who are entered into Paradise without being held to account on account of our good deeds ameen.
