If you can’t watch the above Presentation please read the article below:

Allah loves those who love for their brothers and sisters what they love for themselvesso what of those family members who hate one another or hold grudges against one another?

What does Islam say about these people?

ʻI he mafai ʻo ʻApa Hurai (ʻofa ke Allah fiefia ʻiate ia), ʻa ia naʻa ne pehe ko e talafekau ʻa Allah (melino mo e ngaahi tāpuaki ʻo e Allah ke ʻiate ia) naʻe pehe ʻe:

“The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [ʻo Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother. [About them] it will be said: ‘Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.’”

(Mosilemi, Malik and Abu Dawud)

This hadith clearly explains the dire consequences of holding a grudge against your brother – you are not admitted to paradise!

Ko ia, make peace with your brother because you don’t know at which point the angel of death may strike. This is why you should never sleep on an argument – especially with those you love.

May Allah SWT make us an ummah with the ability to forgive and never hold grudges against each other ameen.
